In 2018-2019 the Department of Veterans’ Affairs appointed HOI to review and write new policy/procedure documents related to the Veterans and Veterans’ Families Counselling Service. The policy was compliant with Quality Management Framework requirements.
The four-stage methodology delivered the following outputs: a detailed Project Plan; a Policy System Map and Policy Review Framework; development of web-publishable clinical and governance policy documents; development of user-friendly policy and related procedures, instructions and templates for use on a secure platform; a Change Management and Communications Plan.
The new policies, procedures, templates and plans were accepted by the Department.
