Vanessa joined HOI in 2017, bringing with her more than 10 years’ experience in the South Australian public sector, in human resource management and medical education and training. In previous roles, Vanessa has led projects and programs to improve junior doctor training and education; undertaken research and analysis of complex workforce issues; and developed, evaluated and negotiated solutions and successful outcomes for a range of clients and stakeholders. Vanessa has a strong ability to adapt and provide leadership in times of transition and change which has enabled her to foster collaborative working relationships with a wide range of professionals and organisations.

Her key competencies include: program evaluation and review; project management; implementation of policy, process and systems; quality accreditation and compliance; change management; and strategic human resource management.

• Bachelor of Management (Major in Human Resource Management and Minor in Marketing and Commercial Law)
